About Andrew

With over two decades of experience in Technology and Automotive Logistics, Andrew Imms combines technical expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset. Throughout his career in the automotive logistics sector, he has contributed to enhancing vehicle logistics processes by applying technology to improve operational efficiency. His collaborative approach and strategic thinking have helped support business objectives and client satisfaction in a rapidly evolving industry.

Andrew is also deeply committed to international collaboration, serving as a Non-Executive Director at EFEC since 2021, where he contributes to the development of CognateUK, an initiative focused on fostering business innovation and technical education between the UK and global partners.

As an entrepreneur, Andrew has founded and managed several ventures that showcase his passion for technology-driven solutions. In 2019, he established Imminently, focusing on sustainable blockchain solutions powered by renewable energy and exploring opportunities in the metaverse space. His earlier venture, Mibrid, founded in 2016, aimed to address the demand for affordable Electric Vehicles (EVs) through strategic collaborations with leading Chinese manufacturers.

His time at Merlin Sports Cars (2017–2019) contributed to the revitalization of the brand, with the introduction of new models that helped strengthen its market position. Additionally, through PrintBig3D, founded in 2018, Andrew has helped bring large-format 3D printing solutions to a wide range of industries, supporting rapid prototyping and creative manufacturing solutions.

In addition to his business endeavours, Andrew is committed to education and knowledge sharing. He lectures in International Business at Bishop Grosseteste University, providing insights into the evolving relationship between technology and business. His academic background includes a BA in Politics, Economics, and Philosophy from the University of York, ongoing studies for an MSc in Business Management at the University of Lincoln, and professional qualifications in Education and Training.

Andrew remains dedicated to supporting innovation and positive change across various sectors through his experience, strategic insights, and passion for technology.
