About Andrew
Andrew Imms is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the IT and Automotive Logistics sectors, blending technical insights with a dynamic entrepreneurial spirit.
Currently, Andrew is concentrating on developing Imminently and its core offerings: ADA, MetaAcademy, and MetaRiviera. He previously served as the Director of Technologies at the GBA Group of Companies, where he led technological innovations in vehicle logistics and enhanced client satisfaction through strategic asset management.
Since September 2021, Andrew has also been a non-executive director at EFEC, focusing on business innovation and technical education between the UK and China, particularly emphasising the BITE service. His drive for innovation is exemplified by his founding of Imminently in February 2019, where he has spearheaded projects like sustainable blockchain solutions and a groundbreaking metaverse platform. Additionally, his venture Mibrid, founded in 2016, addressed the demand for affordable Electric Vehicles (EVs), ultimately integrating with GBA Technologies.
Andrew's leadership at Merlin Sports Cars revitalised the brand. His venture PrintBig3D.com, founded in 2018, provided large-format 3D printing services for rapid prototyping and creative solutions.
Andrew's academic journey is equally impressive. He holds a BA in Politics, Economics, and Philosophy from the University of York and is pursuing an MSc in Business Management at the University of Lincoln. He is also qualified in Education and Training. In addition, Andrew has lectured in International Business at Bishop Grosseteste University and is currently engaged with LORIC (Lincolnshire Open Research and Innovation Centre).
